Monitoring Progress

How do you monitor the progress of your learners within a Response to Intervention system?  Do you have an exit plan for those who positively respond to the intervention and gain sufficient ground, academically?

I created a set of progress monitoring tools, aligned to our high priority learning standards for K-5 mathematics.  These documents provide a systematic way for my educators to track each learner’s response to intervention, specific to the goal set by the team of educators.

My educators are able to determine if a learner is gaining ground at an acceptable rate, if the intervention or goal needs to be adjusted, or if learner might benefit from a move in either direction within our Response to Intervention system.
